This Tuesday, March 22nd, Bourgeon will be celebrating the end of our  DC Student Arts Journalism Challenge with an awards ceremony to present the five finalists, including the Challenge winner, to the public. This competition was created to identify and support talented young arts journalists.  In this inaugural year of the contest we received 21 submissions from students at Georgetown, GW, Catholic, American, Howard, and UDC. The editorial board narrowed the field to five finalists, and all five finalists will be present for the announcement of the winner during Tuesday’s ceremony.

Please, join us on  March 22nd at Yola in Dupont Circle (1323 Connecticut Ave, NW) for our awards event. The ceremony will start at 7:30 and will be brief, with juice and cheese following. If you would like to attend this event, please RSVP by sending an email including your name and the number of guests to hope you will join us to celebrate the work of these talented young arts journalists.
